Another Billion Back - It Is Happening

Public and private employers statewide began receiving $1 billion in workers’ compensation rebates in October as a result of Another Billion Back, which was approved by BWC’s Board of Directors Sept. 26.

It was initially announced by Gov. John Kasich in August.

Eligible employers will receive approximately 60 percent of their billed workers’ compensation premiums for the 2012 policy year.

Another Billion Back is the result of sound fiscal management that led to strong investment returns.

BWC returned $1 billion to private employers and public taxing districts through a similar rebate last year.
