“Safety Dave” Dennison has been involved in Safety and Compliance for over 35 years in his career. 

Since 2017, Dave is now the Jobsite Safety & Security Specialist for Flaherty Sales, representing Werner Ladders and Werner Fall Protection in Ohio and surrounding states. He is the “go to” resource for them on applications and equipment needs issues and provides training and onsite equipment demonstrations in various subjects.

Note:  This program begins the new fiscal year for the BWC Safety Grant program.  

If your company is a current Lake County Safety Council member, your company is auto enrolled and invoices will be sent out late July or early August, 2024.   If your company would like to be a member, please email me to receive the FY25 (July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025) enrollment form. Strategies for Protecting Workers from Occupational Noise-Induced Hearing Loss

The program objectives that will be covered during the presentation are as follows:

·         Understanding the pertinent characteristics of sound

·         Medical evidence of hearing damage from long-term exposure to loud sound

·         Hierarchy of strategies to protect workers from occupational noise-induced hearing loss

·         Measurable outcomes of an actual company’s effective hearing conservation program
